During May holidays, there will be changes in the work of public transport, parking lots and customer service centres
“Rīgas satiksme” informs that on May holidays, buses, trolleybuses and trams will run according to the day-off schedule, also there will be changes in the work of parking lots and customer service centres.
Public transport
On May 1, 2, 3 and 4, buses, trolleybuses and trams will run according to the day-off schedule and only one-month tickets intended for days-off will be valid for travelling in public transport. Also during the mentioned holidays, "Rīgas satiksme" constantly monitors passenger flows in public transport and, if necessary, assign an additional vehicle.
Parking lots
Riga municipal parking lots maintained by „Rīgas satiksme”, on May 1 and 4, will be available free of charge, except the underground parking lot in K.Valdemāra Street 5a near the Riga Congress Centre – there you will have to pay for parking according to the valid tariffs. Whereas, on May 2, you will have to pay for the parking lots in the territory of Old Riga (R zone), working hours of the said parking lots are from 6:00 until 24:00 and in Vecaki (V zone), working hours are from 8:00 until 20:00.
On Monday, May 3, paid parking lot in the territory of Old Riga (R zone) will work from 6:00 until 24:00, whereas, the parking lot in Vecaki (V zone) will work from 8:00 until 20:00 according to the valid tariffs. Riga municipal paid parking lots in A, B, C and D zones will work from 9:00 until 17:00.
From May 2 until September 30, paid parking lot in Vecaki (V zone) will work. The fee for the use of the paid parking lot in the territory of V zonу is 2 EUR for the whole day. On Tuesday, May 4, it will be available free of charge.
Customer service centres
On April 30, the working hours of the customer service centre in Brīvības Street 49/53 will be from 8:00 until 17:00, the other five customer service centres will work as usual on weekdays – until 19:00.
On May 2 and May 3, the working hours of the customer service centre in Spīķeru Street 1 will be from 10:00 until 16:00, the other five customer service centres will be closed.
All customer service centres will be closed on Saturday, May 1, and on Tuesday, May 4.
